Katie’s “Thank-You-For-Not-Quitting” One Year Bash!

In the wee hours of the morning (like 8:30, so not that “wee”), Surge employees met in secrecy to plan out their, well…plan.  Streamers, confetti, and cake…yup, a party was going down!  The occasion?  Katie’s one year anniversary here at Surge!  Whoo!

She entered her office, unprepared for the bludgeon of awesomeness she was about to encounter!  She was so moved that she cried…okay, not really, but she was really excited!  Then, as she blew out her candles, she was dominated by an onslaught of what some would call, “silly string;” we like to call it “the greatest invention ever made!”

We laughed, we ate cake, we silly stringed.  All in all, it was a great day!

Katie, thank you for your cheerful smile, your lighthearted attitude, and your incredible hard work.  We love and appreciate you, very much!

Now get back to work.

A New Masked Face at Surge

“Food, water, oxygen and fun–the four staples of life at Surge!”  This line comes directly from the Core Values statement here at Surge, and we’re not kidding.  The fine gentlemen here wasted no time transforming me from Katie Perkins to Ninjetta.  We all got a good laugh, which is not only the best medicine, but also makes for a more inviting and productive work environment.  I joined the Surge team in January as an Inside Sales Rep, and I am having a great time!  I was born and raised in Madison County, so I am excited about working with people I’ve known my whole life as well as meeting a LOT of new faces.  And if you’re wondering, “Why Ninjetta?” look up West Virginia Ninja on YouTube and enjoy!
